KVEO-IT-PROJECT - OSCAR SYSTEM

Privacy Policy

The short version

The OSCAR system (which does not include Kevin Andrew Lipscomb's photography archive) was designed to enhance the efforts of the Virginia Beach Department of EMS (VBDEMS) to schedule its large community of autonomous members.  With one exception, none of the information collected by the OSCAR system will be used for any other purpose.

The exception is that email addresses collected by the OSCAR system may be added to mailing lists owned and operated by VBDEMS, the Council of Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squads, Inc., or any of the volunteer rescue squads of Virginia Beach.  You will always have the option of unsubscribing from any such lists.

We will notify you ahead of time if we change any of the above.

You (or someone technically qualified) can verify these claims by browsing the production source code at <http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/kveo-it-project/oscar/>.
